Henry Jolson QC

He is a foundation member and former Chair of the Law Council of Australia Alternative Dispute Resolution (Mediation and Arbitration) Committee, foundation Chair of the Victorian Bar Sports Law Committee, a Grade I Arbitrator of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia, an Arbitrator Member of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS -Switzerland), and a Fellow of the International Council for the Settlement of Investment Disputes and a member of its Panel of Conciliators (ICSID – Washington).

He is an acknowledged pioneer in court referred mediation and specialist in alternative dispute resolution including Expert Determination in all areas of law. He is involved in sports law adjudication at the international level (Olympic and Commonwealth Games) and sports administration at the International level (former President of the Australian Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association) and at the National level (a Director of the Western Bulldogs Australian Rules Football club). a CAS Arbitrator and member of the ad hoc Tribunals for the Commonwealth Games Melbourne 2006 and New Delhi 2010, and Australian Ambassador of the Australian Football League Peace Team competing in the 2011 AFL International Cup.
