Family & Childhood: My family came to Israel from Ethiopia in 1990. I have an older brother and sister who are married and a younger brother and sister who are single – I am in the middle!
Politics & the “other side”: Last time I participated in the Peace Team it really changed me and my political views. Unfortunately I have not had the chance to interact with Palestinians since then but I try to spread the word to my friends and family and I know that due to the Peace Team I behave differently around the Arabs inside Israel. I believe the team’s purpose (and mine) is to spread the message of cooperation, I am a kind of an ambassador as an individual (to my community) and as a group (to the world).
